AIMS OF THE PROJECT:

To know about other cultures and people
despite they live far away from us they have the same interests than us.

To take the advantage of the net to
broaden our classrooms.
·
To develop creativity and imagination to
elaborate their own products.
·
To work on a collaborative work using the
advantages of the net.
·
To be aware about the damage we are
causing to our planet.
·
To contribute to raising awareness about
The Sustainable Development Goals from the United Nations.
·
To try to develop some eco-habits into the
school community.
PARTNERS OF THE PROJECT:
TIMING FOR THE
DIFFERENT TASKS:

OCTOBER:
o
We will create the blog in which the Project will be run and open the Twinspace
for the Project. Also it will be time to explain to school, students and
families about the different task of the project. We will use blogger the same for both schools
and at the beginning only teachers will be register in the Twinspace, along the
project we will try to register the students in order to have fluent
communication.
o
Presentation of
the different students and teachers. It will be one presentation of each school
and it would be uploaded into the blog in the section ECO-WARRIORS. The
presentation will include basic data as name, birth date, likes, hobbies, etc….

NOVEMBER: Be aware
about the environmental issues in our plantes. We will be created the eTwinning
eco-Times: It will be a newspaper in which each group of student should write a
piece of news. There are some conditions for each piece of news:
o
It should be about
ecological issues, climate changes, pollution, etc...
o
It should have a
title, text and a couple of photos.
o
It would be great
if it talk about you surrounded area or you own contry.

DECEMBER:
Christmas celebration. There are going to be a couple of events to celebrate
Christmas together:
o
Hangout singing
different Christmas carols.
o Christmas postcards one-to-one

JANUARY: Research
about recycling and the use of power in the school community. The students will
create form to investigate about the recycling habits in their daily lifes and
the use of power and electricy. There will be a section in Twinspace to share and
compare the results of both schools.
·
FEBRUARY: Famous
Scientifics on Climate Change. Students will investigate about famous
scientifics or people who is working against or to stop the global change.
·
MARCH: Exchange
Spanish student will go to Guildford for one week.
·
APRIL: Using the
data students obtain in the survey about eco-habits in the school they will try
to prepare a session with younger students to promote better habits specially
all the ones related with recycling.
·
MAY: During this
month it will take place the second part of the Exchange. Holy Trinity School
will visit San Gregorio School. We will use to create a final product to show
around our school along the next school years. Students will create
infographies to show a Decalogue for an Eco-school or eco-student. This posters
will be printed and shown next years in the school.
ASSESSMENT:

We will assess this project from two different points
of view:
○
Assessment of the project: We will check if we
have achieved the aims of the project. Also we will ask families, teachers and
students implied in the project.
○ Assessment
of the activities of the project: Each activity will be evaluated by the
teachers using a rubric.
